Privacy policy

The short version

• We use the details you send us to respond to your request and to do the work you hire us for. We don’t use them for anything unrelated.
• We never sell your personal information.
• You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your information at any time.

Information you give us

When you request an inspection or estimate, report a leak, send a message or apply for a job, we collect what you enter in the form. Depending on the form, that can include:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• the property address and details about the property, the work or the damage;
• for commercial projects, your company, role and project details, including links to plans;
• photos and documents you upload; and
• for job applications, your experience and any resume you attach.

Information collected automatically

When you send a form, we also record the page you sent it from, the date and time, and your browser and device type. To stop the same connection from sending lots of forms, we keep a scrambled code made from your IP address (not the address itself) for one hour, then delete it.

To understand which pages and advertising lead people to contact us, the site keeps a note in your browser’s local storage of how you most recently arrived from another website or an ad: the referring website or ad campaign, any ad click ID, the first page you saw and when. It’s kept for 30 days, included with any form you send, and not used for anything else.

If you press “Pause animations” at the bottom of a page, your browser remembers that choice so the animations stay paused.

We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and how people find them. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you view. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

To protect our forms from spam, we may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks signals from your browser to tell people from automated programs. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Videos on this site come from YouTube. A video loads only when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode; from then on, YouTube receives information about your device and may set cookies. See Google’s privacy policy.

How we use your information

• to contact you about your request, schedule visits and provide estimates and proposals;
• to carry out and support work you hire us to do;
• to review job applications;
• to keep our website and forms secure and free of spam; and
• to understand and improve how our website works.

Text messages

If you choose text as your preferred way to be contacted, we’ll text you about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting you at any time, by replying to let us know or by calling us. We don’t share your mobile number or text messaging consent with anyone for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only so they can provide that service to us:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and keeps a short-term backup of form submissions and uploads;
• Resend, which delivers the emails sent from this website: the email our team receives with each request, and the confirmation we send you if you give us your email address; and
• Google, which provides our business email, website analytics and the YouTube videos on this site.

If you ask us to, we’ll share documentation about your property with your insurance company or other parties you choose. We may also disclose information when required by law.

How long we keep it

Each form you send reaches our team as an email, with any photos and documents you uploaded. We keep those emails, like the rest of our business email, for as long as we need them for the purposes above, including any project, warranty or legal record-keeping, and then delete them.

The website itself keeps a backup copy of each form and its uploads for 30 days, in case an email doesn’t arrive, and then deletes it automatically. Uploads too large to attach to the email are linked from it instead, and those links stop working when the backup is deleted.

How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and the website’s backup copies can only be reached by the people who run the website. Requests are sent to our business email, which only our team can see. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@divineconstruct.com or call (945) 994-7204. You can also clear the site’s data from your browser, and block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Children

This website isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top of the page.
